Auf WTiN‘s Innovative Textile & Apparel Virtual Trade Show präsentiert das ITA einen Querschnitt seiner Forschungsaktivitäten. In den Stand-Videos zeigen wir u.a. die Ausbildung zum Textile Master of Engineering, berichten über unser Engagement im Bereich von Offshore-Windparks, präsentieren Kleidung aus CO_²-Fasern und demonstrieren die Herstellung von Smart Textiles innerhalb einer Mikrofabrik und die Laseranwendungen für die Produktion von Verbundwerkstoffen. Das ITA Institut für Textiltechnik der RWTH Aachen bildet den Kern der ITA Group, zu der auch der Lehrstuhl für Textilmaschinenbau der RWTH Aachen University gehört. Die ITA-Gruppe ist ein internationaler Forschungs- und Ausbildungsdienstleister für faserbasierte Hochleistungswerkstoffe, textile Halbzeuge und deren Herstellungsverfahren mit rund 400 Mitarbeitern.

At the Innovative Textile & Apparel virtual trade show, ITA will present a large part of its activities. In the videos on our booth we will show i.e. the training for the Master of Textile Master of Engineering, report on our commitment in the field of offshore windfarms, show how to dress with CO², demonstrate the manufacturing of Smart Textiles within a micro factory and the laser applications for the production of composites. We invite our visitors to get an impression of our broad competences. We look forward to meet you at this virtual show.

The ITA Institut für Textiltechnik of RWTH Aachen University is the core of the ITA Group, including the chair of textile machinery of RWTH Aachen University.
